–2023-2024 annual summit and new year promotion conference of Engineering and Service Department, Ei Farming
Plenty of snow, bringing new hopes and new dreams, bodes well for the gains. The New Year is coming!
After the Chinese New Year’s holidays, we resumed working. The cold weather cannot reduce everyone’s enthusiasm for work. On February 20, 2024, the Engineering and Service Department held an annual summit in Ei Farming Industrial Park to summarize the work harvest in 2023 and deploy the work tasks in 2024. Chang Mingkun, director of Engineering and Service Department, participated with all the staff. Many people of the department had already gone to the project site for customer needs, and many people still stuck to their works during the Chinese New Year. They participated in the annual summit online.
At the beginning of the meeting, Director Chang briefly reviewed the work of the past year and put forward expectations and requirements for everyone in the new year. He emphasized the mission of Engineering and Service Department is delivering projects and serving customers, renewed the department’s objectives: to improve the level of engineering delivery and improve customer satisfaction. As for engineering delivery, each project should be made into a high-quality project in order to establish an industry benchmark. As for after-sales service, we should provide professional and sincere service to customers.
A year’s plan lies in spring. The harvest and growth of a year lies in the annual review of the projects. The excellent teams, excellent staffs and department benchmarks shared with us in detail from the aspects of project summary, project objectives, safety management, quality control, experience summary, etc., and the wonderful points won lots of applause from colleagues. Self-review is a reflection and summary of the past year’s life, work and study, which can help us refine our experience, find shortcomings, and plan for the future in order to make us grow better.
The annual work model selection was carried out by voting at the meeting, and one model worker was selected from each of the hatchery team, poultry farm team, technical support team and business support team. They each shared their work cases for a year, and their contribution to the department was fully recognized. They are a banner of struggle, shining the power of faith, is a radical battle song, highlighting the sonorous blood.
During the meeting, the arrival of the General Manager Chen made colleagues excited. After listening to the sharing of excellent staffs, General Manager Chen had a cordial conversation with colleagues in the department, and shared with them the struggle and development process of the company for decades, which is very touching and profound. From a product, to the product line, and now to the integrated solution, step by step, to win the market, win the customer’s recognition.
Mr. Chen emphasized three key words: Confidence, Professionalism and Altruism.
As for Confidence, he said, “Have absolute confidence in your products”. Only with confidence can we stand out in the market competition and win the trust of customers. We should always maintain pride in the company, integrate confidence into daily work, and constantly improve their own strength.
As for Professionalism, he stressed that as a member of the company, you must have excellent technical ability and be able to quickly solve on-site problems. Professionalism is the requirement of individual ability, but also the test of team cooperation. All staffs should study constantly, support each other, and jointly improve professional literacy.
As for Altruism, he said to be customer-centric, to always put customer needs first. At work, we should think from the perspective of customers, actively solve problems for customers, and provide high-quality service. Only altruism can win the trust of customers and create greater value for the company.
In order to do a good job, you must improve your tools first. The staff of Engineering and Service Department actively adjusted their mentality and actively participated in the technical learning and safety production training arranged by the company. In the following days, engineers from each project team of the R&D Department conducted training on hatching equipment, automation, information technology, environmental control and poultry farm equipment for colleagues from the Engineering and Service Department. This training activity provided a valuable learning opportunity for everyone, improved the overall technical level of the department, and added a lot of knowledge. The staffs were eager to learn and studied actively, which deepened their knowledge reserve and improved their management and coordination ability. Every staff will contribute their own strength to the development of the company with more full enthusiasm and higher service standards.
